Cookies and analytics
Draft last updated 24 August 2026
In plain EnglishWe don't run advertising cookies and we don't let anyone else track you here. What we store is the bare minimum to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
What's stored in your browser
- Your sign-in session — kept in local storage by our authentication provider so you don't have to log in on every page. Essential; clearing it signs you out.
- Light or dark mode — remembered so the app doesn't flash the wrong theme at you.
- Favourites and your last few settings in quick mode — so a refresh doesn't lose your place. This never leaves your device.
Analytics
We record product events in our own database — which patterns get opened, which exports get run, whether a generation succeeded. They're tied to your account id, not to an advertising profile, and they exist so we can tell which parts of the product actually work. We don't sell them and we don't share them with an ad network.
Turning things off
Blocking cookies and local storage in your browser will stop you from signing in, but Simple mode works signed-out right up to the point of download. Deleting your account removes the analytics events tied to it — see the privacy policy.
